PTeYe ABOUT

About Me & My Ethos:
I’m married with two teenage boys in further education.  I enjoy showing people how little they need to do to improve their own mental and physical fitness.  Witnessing people achieve their goals through self-belief and hard work is very rewarding to me.  All I ask is that people are honest with both me and themselves.

Where I Operate:
I operate within Peterborough and the surrounding villages, however, if anyone wishes to connect via ‘Zoom’, distance knows no bounds!

“Yvonne is super friendly, knows her stuff and is very encouraging. I have recently been on a weight loss journey with a near 6 stone loss…”

What I do:

1 to 1 Personal Training:
I presently train people ranging in ages from 18 to 75 years old with goals from wanting to keep up with the kids to competing in a full Iron Man Challenge.

I am mobile so can deliver training sessions in clients’ houses, open spaces or clients can come to my garage gym.

Run Coaching:
I train runners from complete beginners to distances including 5k, 10k, Half-marathon and full Marathon and Ultras both on-road and off-road trails.

I’ve recently finished a Complete Beginner Running Group showing people who have never run a step how to run safely, efficiently and build up mileage without injuring themselves.

Achievements to Date:
I began running January 2000 and since then have progressed to completing in distances from Parkrun to Marathons and Ultra events.

I train in the gym, to keep one step ahead of my clients, and now lift heavier than my own body-weight.

I’ve run 9 marathons including Paris plus several Ultras.  My favourite being the Atlantic Coast Challenge 80 miles from Penzance to Land’s End.  I’ve also run Race to the Stones 100k in Oxfordshire and the Pony Express 60 miles in Dorset.

In my younger days, I was the Eye Community Runners Veteran Ladies Club Champion 4 years running.

Future Goals:
I’m working on squats lifting double my own body-weight,
My dream is to complete the Dragons Back Race – 5 marathons over 5 days across the mountains of Wales.
